Colts release 2019 training camp schedule

It’s that time of year again, folks...training camp is right around the corner. The Indianapolis Colts released their 2019 training camp schedule on Thursday. Camp will begin on July 25 and end on August 15 at the Grand Park Sports Campus in Westfield, Indiana. Fans have the opportunity to attend all 16 training sessions with a ticket, which can be purchased at Colts.com/Camp.

Kalen Jackson, the Colts’ vice chair and owner, spoke proudly of the team’s success in 2018, that ended with an untimely playoff loss at Kansas City. “It’s such an exciting time of year for us,” Jackson said. “As we all joke, there really is no ‘offseason’ anymore for us. We’re always busy, always trying to make things better.”

The training camp schedule is as follows:

Thursday, July 25: Practice from 2:00-3:40 PM (Camp Kickoff)

Friday, July 26: Practice from 2:00-4:00 PM

Saturday, July 27: Practice from 2:00-3:40 PM (Kids Day)

Sunday, July 28: Practice from 2:00-4:15 PM (Community Day)

Monday, July 29: Off day

Tuesday, July 30: Practice from 9:00-11:00 AM (Grandparents Day)

Wednesday, July 31: Practice from 9:00-11:15 AM (Back to School Day)

Thursday, August 1: Practice from 9:00-11:15 AM

Friday, August 2: Off day

Saturday, August 3: Practice from 2:00-4:00 PM (Armed Forces Day)

Sunday, August 4: Practice from 2:00-4:15 PM (Fan Appreciation Day)

Monday, August 5: Practice from 2:00-3:40 PM (First Responders Day)

Wednesday, August 7: Off day

Friday, August 16: Break camp

The Colts will host the Cleveland Browns on Saturday, August 17 for a preseason game at Lucas Oil Stadium. The regular season opener will feature the Colts vs. the Chargers in Los Angeles, and the first home game at Lucas Oil against the Atlanta Falcons will be held on Sunday, September 22.
