Colts Cast: Andrew Luck abruptly retires from NFL two weeks before Week 1

There is so much to say about what Andrew Luck has done for the Indianapolis Colts and their fan base. None of us expected to be talking about THIS today though. In a decision that not only had people checking, and double checking to determine the accuracy of an Adam Schefter tweet, but maybe it was somehow a fake account, or maybe he’d been hacked,

Unfortunately, it’s accuracy was soon verified and Andrew Luck gave an impromptu press conference following the Colts’ third preseason game to acknowledge that he had indeed decided to retire from the NFL after nagging injuries had built up, and the process of pain, rehab and then more pain and rehab had soured his love for the process.
