The Indianapolis Colts are heading into Nashville for their AFC South opener against the Tennessee Titans this week. Aside from Kemoko Turay being downgraded to OUT yesterday, the Colts don’t really have any surprises this week.
Last week Tyquan Lewis was a healthy inactive, but due to Turay still battling a neck issue, Lewis will be in the mix this week and may even see some snaps at defensive end as Jabaal Sheard is still on the shelf.
The Colts do have Le’Raven Clark inactive this week and we will also see rookie linebacker E.J. Speed for the first time this season as well.
The Titans, on the other hand, are largely surprise free as well heading into Week 2. Reggie Gilbert and Kevin Pamphile were out of practice all week, and David Fluellen who was limited Friday and had missed practice Thursday are all on the inactive list this week.
Fluellen was listed as questionable yesterday, but was apparently unable to go today.
We’re seeing the Colts as healthy as they’ve been as a team in a long time. Had Turay been healthy today, it’d be hard to bet against them in spite of Sheard still being out.
