Wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr continues to miss practice with a calf injury and will continue to do so this week and going forward. Pittman was diagnosed with compartment leg syndrome and had to undergo emergency surgery to fix the issue on Monday. Frank Reich told the media he will be likely out for awhile.
Running back Nyheim Hines returned to full practice today which is great news as he is such an important part of the offense. Hines brings such a unique skill set to the Colts offense with his receiving skills out the backfield and his speed and acceleration running with the ball.
Cornerback Rock Ya-sin practiced fully today which is huge in terms of his return to playing. Ya-Sin missed two games with an illness and had to have surgery due to it. Ya-Sin’s return will be a huge boost to the Colts secondary which will be getting its number one cornerback back in time to face the Bears talented wide receivers.
Cornerback TJ Carrie was limited with a hamstring injury today. Carrie has been a vital part of the defense especially at corner in the absence of Rock Ya-Sin. Losing such a versatile corner like Carrie, with his ability to play inside and outside, would be a big knock. Carrie has played light outs in Ya-Sin’s absence.
