Wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr was ruled OUT for Sunday’s game after missing all weeks practice with a calf injury. Pittman was diagnosed with compartment leg syndrome and is likely out for a few weeks so it should come as no surprise that he is OUT this week.
Cornerback TJ Carrie was ruled OUT with a hamstring injury. Carrie was limited Thursday then missed practice all together today. Losing Carrie for Sunday is a huge loss for the Colts cornerback depth as Carrie has the versatility to play inside and out.
Both running back Nyheim Hines and cornerback Rock Ya-Sin have no injury designation after managing back to back full practices after being limited on Wednesday. Ya-Sin will play this Sunday for the first time since week 1. Ya-Sin missed week 2 and 3 games with an illness then he ended up needing surgery for. The Colts will finally have their number 1 cornerback back from injury which will be a huge boost to the teams defensive secondary.
Four Colts veterans had their veteran rest day today: left tackle Anthony Castonzo, defensive lineman Denico Autry, wide receiver TY Hilton and defensive end Justin Houston which rounds out today’s injury report.
