According to The Houston Chronicle’s Aaron Wilson, the Indianapolis Colts recently worked out a duo of cornerbacks: Kevon Seymour and Will Sunderland:

Regarding Seymour, the 6’0”, 186 pound cornerback was a former 2016 6th round pick of the Buffalo Bills (2016) but has also spent time with the Carolina Panthers organization (2017-18).

He’s appeared in 31 career NFL games (5 starts), recording 44 tackles (38 solo), and 7 passes defensed.

Meanwhile, Sunderland is a 6’4”, 196 pound defensive back who also has prior experience playing safety. He was a First-Team All-Sun Belt selection for Troy in 2019, where he had 38 tackles, 4 interceptions (1 for a touchdown return), and 4 pass breakups in 11 starts.

He was previously a member of the Oklahoma Sooners program but was suspended for the entirety of the 2017 season because of a second-degree burglary charge.

He was initially signed as an undrafted rookie free agent by the Green Bay Packers.

The Colts don’t appear to have any glaring injuries at cornerback at this time, but it’s a position that can frequently get dinged up, and a team’s depth can be tested in a hurry.
