Colts Injury Report: TE Alie-Cox and C Kelly QUESTIONABLE

Syndication: Indianapolis Matt Kryger/IndyStar

The Colts released their final injury report for week 8 of the NFL season.

Tight end Mo Alie-Cox is QUESTIONABLE with a knee injury. Alie-Cox only managed two limited practices this week after missing the Bengals game with a knee injury. He has a chance to play Sunday against the Lions but his status is really up in the air.

Center Ryan Kelly is QUESTIONABLE with a knee injury. Kelly injured his knee in Wednesday’s practice which caused him to be limited then miss Thursday’s and Friday’s practice. Kelly was reportedly at practice today taking mental reps even though he couldn’t take part in practice. If Kelly does miss the game Sunday it will likely be rookie Danny Pinter as next man up, who is yet to take any meaningful snaps in the NFL.

Linebacker Darius Leonard managed a full week of practice, he was only limited on Wednesday, and therefore has been given the go ahead to play Sunday, Leonard’s return will be huge for an already strong defense heading in the right direction.

Tight end Jack Doyle returned to practice fully today after missing Wednesday and Thursday practice with a not injury related designation. Doyle has no game time status so should be full go Sunday.

Wide receiver TY Hilton and offensive tackle Anthony Castonzo missed practice with a veteran rest day. Safety Julian Blackmon also missed practice today with a rest day even though he had one too on Wednesday, the Colts are likely erring on the side of caution with Blackmon.
