Indianapolis Colts head coach Frank Reich had his weekly conference call Monday with the media and gave several updates.

Reich gave several injury updates in his conference call. Linebacker Darius Leonard was injured during the game and ended up being ruled OUT to return to the game in the second half with a groin injury. Reich gave an update saying Leonard is still dealing with a groin injury and it will be monitored throughout the week but did not rule him out for the game this Sunday against the Browns.

Left tackle Anthony Castonzo is dealing with a rib injury and will also be monitored this week. Again Reich didn’t rule him out for the Browns game. Castonzo is one to keep an eye on esepcially seeing as the Colts are due to face Myles Garrett and the Browns defensive line this upcoming Sunday.

Linebacker Bobby Okereke injured his thumb in the Bears game and is having surgery on it today to fix the issue. Reich also didn’t rule out Okereke for the Browns game even though he;s having surgery on his thumb today. If Leonard is hurt and can’t play against the Browns the Colts will desperately need Okereke to step up in his place like he did in the second half on Sunday but that is in doubt at the moment due to Okereke’s own injury status.

Another potential hit to the Colts linebacking core in EJ Speed. Reich gave an update on Speed who is being evaluated for an elbow injury. Speed is due to get a scan on his elbow to determine the extent to his elbow injury. Speed also hasn’t been ruled out for the Browns game but will be monitored during the week.

Some good news on the injury side of things is Colts number one cornerback Rock Ya-Sin. Ya-Sin left the game in the fourth quarter with a leg injury and looked to be in some pain and walked off the field gingerly. However, Reich says Ya-Sin is all good and would of even gone back into the game if there was another defensive series. This is great news for Ya-Sin and the Colts defense, the team needs it’s best corner on the field this Sunday when they go up against the Browns receivers in Beckham Jr and co.
