The biggest news on the injury report is that linebacker Darius Leonard and left tackle Anthony Castonzo are ruled OUT of the Sunday’s game against the Browns. Both will be hugely missed in their respected positions. Leonard is a leader on defense and leads by example and is arguably the best defender on the field so will be hard to replace. Castonzo is the teams left tackle and is one of the best offensive lineman and has been the teams franchise left tackle ever since the year he was drafted.
Linebacker Anthony Walker is QUESTIONABLE with an ankle injury. Walker is the teams MIKE linebacker and a valuable member of the defense and will likely be leaned on even more due to Leonard being out. Having both Leonard and potentially Walker miss Sunday’s game against the Browns would be disastrous.
Cornerback TJ Carrie, linebacker Bobby Okereke and linebacker EJ Speed all don’t have an injury designation for Sunday’s game meaning they are full go to play after all managing to practice fully today.
Cornerback Kenny Moore missed today’s practice but it was not injury related and doesn’t have an injury designation so should be full go Sunday.
Three Colts veterans had their veteran rest day today: defensive lineman Denico Autry, wide receiver TY Hilton and defensive end Justin Houston which rounds out today’s injury report.
