The Indianapolis Colts announced that linebacker Matthew Adams was activated off of the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
Adams had been placed on the list a few days ago as a health precaution following a high risk, close contact outside the Colts facility.
The backup linebacker has recorded a tackle during 3 games this season—having been previously activated off of injured reserve (ankle) in early November.
He played in 75% of the Colts’ special teams snaps recently during Week 9.
The third-year linebacker remains a key reserve for the Colts defense at its second level with his starting experience—as he has 9 career starts.
The Colts also indicated that pass rusher Kemoko Turay will be activated off of PUP this week, tight end Jack Doyle is still in the concussion protocol, and cornerback Kenny Moore continues to be monitored by the team with a rib injury.
