Tight end Trey Burton and defensive end Justin Houston both practiced fully today after missing yesterday with scheduled rest days. Both will be needed big time against the Packers on Sunday.
Tight end Jack Doyle practiced fully today after missing practice yesterday with a concussion. Doyle appears to be still in the leagues concussion protocol but him managing to practice fully today shows he is progressing well and may have a chance at playing Sunday.
Cornerback Kenny Moore and safety Khari Willis practiced today after both missing practice yesterday with rib injuries. Moore only managed a limited practice today but its progressing in the right direction. Willis practiced fully today which appears to show he may be over his rib injury. The Colts will be leaning heavily on their defense against the Packers offense and need a fully healthy secondary.
Tight end Mo Alie-Cox remains limited in practice with a knee injury. Alie-Cox has been on the injury report for the past few weeks now and it appears he is still struggling with the knee injury. The Colts tight end room is very uncertain at the moment and the Colts offense will need all the help it can get against the Packers.
Safety Julian Blackmon practiced fully after being limited yesterday. Blackmon has been phenomenal as a rookie and is the Colts starting free safety. The Colts will need a fully healthy secondary against the Packers passing attack and it looks like Blackmon will be available.
Defensive end Kemoko Turay continues to be limited in practice. Turay was activated off the reserve PUP list earlier this week so is working his way back to full strength and hopefully will be able to figure against the Packers on Sunday.
Defensive lineman Denico Autry missed practice with an illness. It appears it may be COVID-19 related as three other defensive lineman; Grover Stewart, Tyquan Lewis and Al-Quadin Muhammad, missed practice today with not injury related which the team has used previously with close contacts of a suspected or confirmed COVID-19 case.
Tight end Noah Togiai missed practice with a knee injury today. The tight end group are all either dealing with injuries or have missed practice at some point this week. If Togiai can’t play this Sunday then the team may have to elevate a tight end off the practice squad.
Offensive lineman Braden Smith was limited in practice today with a thumb injury. It appears he may have picked it up in practice yesterday seeing as he wasn’t on the injury report with it yesterday. Smith is the teams starting right tackle and the depth behind him isn’t very good so he will be one to monitor before Sunday.
