AFC South Roundup: Week 12

Tennessee Titans (7-3)

Score this week: Beat Ravens 30-24 in OT

The Titans managed to outlast the Ravens on a thrilling game where their defense managed to keep Lamar in check and Henry scored the game winning touchdown in overtime. The Titans receiving core looks as solid as ever, but there are plenty of cracks in the Titans foundation.

Injuries: Jayon Brown out for season, Ty Sambraillo placed on IR

Tennessee lost perhaps their best defensive player for the rest of the year and backup now starter Ty Sambraillo was placed on IR with a knee injury.

Looking ahead: @Colts

Key game up ahead for the Titans, as they cannot afford to lose both games against the Colts.

Houston Texans (3-7)

Score this week: Beat Patriots 27-20

This was a surprisingly entertaining game, as Houston’s passing weapons are finally starting to click and the defense did just enough to contain a mediocre Patriots offense.

Injuries: Randall Cobb out against Detroit

Right as the Texans passing game was getting into a groove, receiver Randall Cobb is out for the next game against the Lions.

Looking ahead: @Lions

Hit the snooze button on this one, unless you have players important for your fantasy team.

Jacksonville Jaguars (1-9)

Score this week: Lost to the Steelers 3-27

Complete domination here, as the Steelers defense easily handled Jake Luton. The Jaguars certainly have some talent but they are not a well built football team and are a couple seasons away from being competitive again.

Injuries: Chase McLaughlin positive for COVID, Josh Allen on IR

Former Colts kicker Chase McLaughlin was a reliable option for the Jags, so his positive test really hurts this lackluster special teams unit. Sophomore edge defender Josh Allen was placed on injured reserve and will miss the next three weeks at the least.

Looking ahead: vs. Browns

The Jaguars always win one game they are not supposed to win. This season that was against the Colts in Week 1. Let’s just hope it can happen again against a Cleveland team that is battling for the wild card spots.
