Safety Julian Blackmon and cornerback Rock Ya-Sin would have both practiced fully today after missing yesterday’s practice with an illness. It is great to see that both Blackmon and Ya-Sin would have practiced today as this means they will more than likely be available for Sunday.
Defensive end Justin Houston would have practiced fully today after missing practice yesterday with a not injury related designation. The Colts usually use that designation for close contacts of someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. Good news with Houston returning to practice means he is not deemed a close contact enough to be moved to on to the Reserve/Covid-19 list.
Center Ryan Kelly would have missed practice again today for second day in a row. Kelly struggling with a neck injury is starting to get worrisome. Kelly really needs to practice in some way or it isn’t looking good for his chances of playing Sunday.
Guard Quenton Nelson would have missed practice again today for the second day in a row too. Nelson like Kelly is struggling this week with an injury although Nelson is listed as having both back and ankle injuries. Nelson needs to practice tomorrow to have a chance of playing Sunday. The Colts really can’t afford to lose either Kelly or Nelson let alone both of them.
Linebacker Bobby Okereke would have missed practice again today after missing practice yesterday’s practice as well with an ankle injury. Okereke is a starting linebacker and a big part of what the Colts do on defense. Okereke really needs to pracice tomorrow to stand a chance of playing Sunday.
Wide receiver Zach Pascal also would have missed practice today with knee and foot injuries after missing practice yesterday too. Pascal is a big part of the teams offense even though he isn’t always targeted all too often, he steps up big when needed too. Pascal needs to practice in some capacity tomorrow or he will likely miss Sunday’s game.
Quarterback Philip Rivers would have missed practice today with a toe injury. Frank Reich said it was more than likely Rivers would miss practice today as more of a rest day for his toe injury. It would likely mean he will practice tomorrow but it certainly is one to monitor.
Cornerback Isaiah Rodgers, offensive tackle Braden Smith, tight end Noah Togiai and linebacker Anthony Walker would have ll practice fully today for the second day in a row.
