AFC South Roundup: Week 14

NFL: Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

Tennessee Titans (8-4)

Score this week: Lost to the Browns 35-41

This game was not as close as the final score tells, as the Browns completely obliterated the Titans. Tennessee has been really lucky this year, as most of the good teams they faced were dealing with major injuries, and they got some really close games. In my opinion, the Titans are not nearly as good as their record and they will surely get exposed in the playoffs.

Injuries: Adam Humphries to IR, Jadeveon Clowney’s season over

Adam Humphries was placed on IR retroactive to 3 weeks while Clowney’s disappointing season with the Titans finally comes to a close.

Looking ahead: Vs. Jaguars

Easy game here for the Titans, who will most likely get a win against Jacksonville to further solidify their grip among the top of the AFC south.

Houston Texans (4-8)

Score this week: Lost to the Colts 20-26

The Texans lost a heartbreaking game against the Colts, were they drove the entire length of the field before an error by the center resulted in a fumble recovery by Anthony Walker. Houston needs a lot of help, and it did not help that they lost their best receiver and their starting cornerback because of PEDs. This team is in a really bad position, as they are not only facing some salary cap complications, but are also without their first round pick next year.

Injuries: No new injuries to report.

Receiver Brandin Cooks was banged up but later returned to finish the game. Otherwise, there are no new injuries.

Looking ahead: Vs. Bears

As we head into the latter part of the season, there are plenty of games that are just not worth keeping an eye out unless you have someone on your Fantasy team, this is one of them.

Jacksonville Jaguars (1-11)

Score this week: Lost to the Vikings 24-27 in OT

As has been the case with the Jaguars several times this season, close, but no cigar. Jacksonville is in full tank mode and if the Jets win just one game then Trevor Lawrence will probably make his way to Duval.

Injuries: Linder, Shenault Jr. questionable, Abry Jones placed on IR

The Jaguars have two key starters questionable ahead of a divisional clash against the Titans, while defensive tackle Abry Jones was placed on IR.

Looking ahead: @Titans

The Jaguars have been trending upwards recently, coming really close to winning a couple of games against tough opponents, while the Titans are really sketchy right now. Who knows, perhaps Jacksonville can make us Colts fans happy for a change.
