The Indianapolis Colts today released their Thursday injury report for week 14 of the NFL season.

Defensive lineman Denico Autry, tight end Trey Burton and defensive end Justin Houston all returned to practice today after their scheduled rest day. Tight end Jack Doyle, however, missed practice today with a scheduled rest day. Doyle has been getting sporadic rest days to help with maintenance throughout the year.

Offensive tackle Anthony Castonzo returned to practice today. Castonzo had been not practicing lately due to the MCL injury he picked up against the Titans in week 12. Getting Castonzo back in practice is huge news and the first major step to him returning to playing. If Castonzo can continue to practice tomorrow then it significantly increases his chances of playing Sunday.

Defensive lineman Tyquan Lewis returned to practice today in a limited capacity. Lewis missed yesterday’s practice with a hip injury. Lewis is a key rotation piece on the defensive line and plays a significant role on defense for the Colts. Lewis is having a breakout year and hopefully can continue that without having a injury halt his progress.

Quarterback Philip Rivers practiced fully today after missing practice yesterday with a toe injury. Rivers injured his toe against the Packers earlier in the season. Rivers had been having practice days off to help him manage the toe injury. Rivers return to practice almost ensures he will play Sunday against the Raiders.

Safety Khari WIllis returned to practice today in a limited capacity. Willis missed practice yesterday on top of the Texans game due to back and quad injuries. Willis has missed practice for over a week due to the back and quad injuries, his return to practice today gives him a very good shot at playing Sunday.

Linebacker Bobby Okereke continues to be limited in practice this week. Okereke missed the last two Colts game due to the ankle injury. He has been a big missing piece on defense the last two weeks as his play against both the run and pass had been clearly missing. Hopefully Okereke can make his return Sunday against the Raiders.

Offensive tackle Braden Smith return to practicing fully today. Smith was limited yesterday due to a groin injury. Smith returning to practice is big news for the Colts as it almost confirms he will be good to play Sunday. The Colts are already struggling for healthy offensive lineman at the moment and can’t afford to lose any more offensive lineman.

Defensive end Kemoko Turay was limited again today in practice with an ankle injury. Turay has been brought back slowly by the Colts as to not have an injury setback. Turay is also on a snap count in games to go with his limited practices. Turay should be good to go this Sunday and hopefully can see some more snaps on the field.

Linebacker Anthony Walker returned to practicing fully today. Walker was limited yesterday with a rib injury. Walker had been playing a lot more with Okereke missing the last two games. Walker’s return to practice almost certainly confirms he will feature on Sunday.
