The Indianapolis Colts today released their Wednesday injury report for week 11 of the NFL season.

Tight end Trey Burton and defensive end Justin Houston both missed practice today with a rest day. Both Burton and Houston have been having Wednesday’s off each week, Burton as he was on injured reserve to start the season with a calf injury and Houston due to age and durability.

Left tackle Anthony Castonzo did not practice today due to a knee injury. Castonzo injured his knee during the first half of the game on Sunday against the Titans and did not return to the game. After the game it HC Frank Reich announced that Castonzo had injured his MCL in his knee but that his timetable for return was undetermined yet. Castonzo’s looking very unlikely to play this week but there is a slight bit of hope he might be able to. One to definitely monitor this week.

Offensive tackle Chaz Green missed practice today with a back injury. Green is an option to play along the offensive line with Castonzo looking likely to miss the Texans game this Sunday with his knee injury. Green missing practice today isn’t great for the offensive line depth available this week.

Linebacker Bobby Okereke missed practice today with an ankle injury. Okereke missed practice all last week and the Titans game due to his ankle injury. Okereke’s absence was a big missing piece on defense last Sunday. Okereke is a big presence in both pass coverage and run defense. Okereke will be one to monitored this week.

Quarterback Philip Rivers missed practice today with a toe injury. Rivers injured his toe against the Packers in Week 11 blocking on a run play. Rivers missed two practices last week but managed to play against the Titans last Sunday. Rivers is a very tough quarterback and has shown last week only needs minimal practice time to be able to play. Rivers is another to keep a close eye on this week.

Punter Rigoberto Sanchez missed practice today with an illness. It was announced by Sanchez himself earlier in the week on social media he had been diagnosed with a cancerous tumour in his leg. Sanchez had surgery on the tumour on Tuesday and is continuing to receive treatment and looks like he will be out for a bit of time.

Safety Khari Willis missed practice today with back and quadriceps injuries. Willis was injured in the second half of the Titans game and didn’t return. Willis is a massive part of the Colts secondary not only in pass coverage but also in run support. Hopefully Willis can improve throughout the week and play Sunday against the the Texans.

Wide receiver Zach Pascal was limited in practice with a knee injury. Pascal struggled last week with injuries and missed practice time too. Pascal was QUESTIONABLE for the Titans game but still managed to play. Hopefully Pascal can continue to practice in some capacity all week and play in the game against the Texans as he is a key receiver on offense.

Defensive end Kemoko Turay was limited today in practice with an ankle injury. Turay was activated off the PUP list earlier in the year after missing a big part of the season due to the ankle injury he picked up last year against the Chiefs. Turay is still working his way back from injury and has been on a snap count the last two weeks against the Packers and Titans. Hopefully Turay being limited isn’t a set back in his progress.

Center Ryan Kelly, cornerback Isaiah Rodgers and running back Jordan Wilkins were all full participants in practice today. Kelly missed practice all last week and the Titans game due to a neck injury and was sorely missed. Isaiah Rodgers missed the Titans game with a knee injury, his ability to return on kicks and the depth he provides at cornerback is vital. Jordan Wilkins injured his ribs in the Titans game but did manage to return to the game. Wilkins is a huge key part at running back providing depth and a change of pace from Hines and Taylor.
