The Indianapolis Colts are set to match up with the Pittsburgh Steelers today and the Colts have never had a great time at Heinz Field, especially in recent years.
Today will be even more difficult with the news of right tackle Braden Smith being placed on the Covid list, and it just got even worse with Anthony Castonzo being inactive for this pivotal game with so much on the line.
The good news is that the rest of the team is good to go today. The Steelers have lost their last three games and the Colts have won six of their last eight since the bye week, and this could not mean more to the Colts with only two games to play and a very tight AFC playoff race.
A win would give them a great chance to take the division outright with the Titans taking on the Packers tonight in Lambeau, but a loss pushes the Colts back in simply clinching a spot in the post season all together.

The Colts elevated Jake Eldrenkamp and J’Marcus Webb to the active roster this week and that could mean that the team has made additional changes to the starting lineup along the offensive line. Will we see Quenton Nelson at left tackle again, this time for the entire game? Or will the Colts just run with what they have in terms of backups at the tackle positions against a very impressive pass rush in the Steelers’ defense?
This game was already a tough one, and now it’s going to be even more difficult without the team’s two pro-bowl caliber tackles on the shelf.
Here are the Week 16 inactives for the Steelers:
