Offensive tackle Jared Veldheer was originally selected by the Oakland Raiders in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He has played in 120 games in his career with the Raiders, Cardinals, Broncos, Patriots and Packers. Veldheer should provide the Colts with an experienced depth option at the tackle position especially now that Anthony Castonzo is out for the rest of the year.
Tight end Andrew Vollert was originally signed by the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent after the 2018 NFL Draft. Vollert has spent time with the Cardinals, Bengals and Chargers and Panthers before signing with the Colts practice squad last week.
