The Indianapolis Colts today placed tight end Noah Togiai on injured reserve and elevated punter Ryan Allen and center Joey Hunt to the active roster from the practice squad for Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans.

Togiai who was originally signed as an undrafted free agent with the Philidephia Eagles after the 2020 NFL draft. He participated in the 2020 offseason programme with the Eagles before being waived during final cut downs. The Indianapolis Colts claimed Togiai off waivers in early September 2020. He has played in four games this season with the Colts. Togiai had been dealing with a knee injury lately, with him heading to injured reserve the Colts have three tight ends on the active roster.
Allen was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the New England Patriots after the 2013 NFL draft. He played for the Patriots from 2013-18, before signing with the Atlanta Falcons in 2019 and then played for the Tennessee Titans most recently in 2020. Allen has played in 105 career games and has a punt average of 45.2 yards and a net average of 40 yards. Allen was signed to the Colts practice squad earlier this week after the Colts punter Rigoberto Sanchez was diagnosed with a cancerous tumour in his leg.
Hunt was a sixth round pick by the Seattle Seahawks in the 2016 NFL Draft. He played in 34 career games with the Seahawks with 11 starts. Hunt played in 14 games in 2019 with 8 starts. He was signed to the Colts practice squad in late August 2020. Hunt has been elevated to the Colts active roster for the last few games to provide much needed offensive line depth.
