The Indianapolis Colts (7-4) are preparing for a second AFC South matchup in as many weeks as they head to NRG Stadium to battle the Houston Texans (4-7) here in Week 13. The Colts badly need a win, and maybe even a sound victory in order to get themselves back in the groove they were thought to be in previous to being handled by the Titans in Week 12.

Earlier in the week, the Colts ruled out four players for the trip to Houston, and all of them could very well affect the team’s play again this week as well.

Anthony Castonzo obviously is quite literally impossible for the Colts to replace given their current roster situation at the position. Khari Willis has been having a very good season and is an important piece to the secondary in both aspects. The Colts will be using a new punter after the news concerning Rigoberto Sanchez, and that has the potential to come into play, and Bobby Okereke will be missed for a second straight week.

Outside of Okereke though, the Colts have everyone else back that they were missing last week due to the Covid list.

Deshaun Watson will present a real task for this Colts defense, and they’ll need the combination of pass rush from Denico Autry, and the stable mix of run stopping power, and disruption that DeForest Buckner brings to the table. It would be nice to see Okereke being used in pursuit as the Colts will need a spy throughout the day on Watson, but the Colts will have to find another way to make that happen with who is available.

The good news for the Colts is that there are no more surprises as the inactives have been announced. Ben Banogu is a healthy scratch again this week and that’s becoming a bit of a trend for him lately.
