In the hours leading up to the second round of the NFL Draft rumors began to swirl that our Indianapolis Colts were looking to move back with one of their second round picks in an effort to acquire even more picks.

I like them picks.

As it turns out the rumors were a little off and the Colts gave up their third round selection #75 overall and #197 overall to move back to #85 overall picking up picks 149 and 182 in return.

In Chris Ballard’s fourth draft as general manager of the Indianapolis Colts he has now traded back for additional picks, four times. Time will tell how this trade works out for our Colts but at first look it appears to be a solid return that helps to dampen some of what was lost when they moved up to select Jonathan Taylor in the second round.
