3rd Overall Pick - Detroit Lions
Jeff Okudah - Cornerback - Ohio State

Okudah solves their need at cornerback and fills the hole left by former #1 cornerback Darius Slay.

4th Overall Pick - New York Giants
Tristan Wirfs - Offensive Tackle - Iowa

Giants surprise us with Wirfs who’s athleticism and versatility will be useful in protecting Daniel Jones.

5th Overall Pick - Miami Dolphins
Tua Tagovailoa - Quarterback - Alabama

Dolphins get the quarterback who some (including myself) consider to be the best quarterback in the draft.

6th Overall Pick - Los Angeles Chargers
Isaiah Simmons - Linebacker - Clemson

Chargers skip Herbert and go with the best player available: Isaiah Simmons, who can turn their defense into one of the best in football.

7th Overall Pick - Tampa Bay Buccaneers (from Carolina Panthers)
Justin Herbert - Quarterback - Oregon

Trade: Buccaneers trade 14th Overall, 45th Overall + 2021 3rd Round Pick for 7th Overall Pick from Panthers

With the Chargers passing on Herbert, the Bucs trade up and get their future quarterback to sit behind Tom Brady.

8th Overall Pick - Arizona Cardinals
Jedrick Willis - Offensive Tackle - Alabama

Willis was pretty much perfect at Alabama, not allowing a single sack during his career and he solves a big need for the Cardinals, who need people to protect Kyler Murray.

9th Overall Pick - Jacksonville Jaguars
Derrick Brown - Defensive Tackle - Auburn

The Jaguars take the best player on the board: Derrick Brown, who’s big body and great run stopping skills instantly boosts their defensive line.

10th Overall Pick - Cleveland Browns
Mekhi Becton - Offensive Tackle - Louisville

The Browns take the behemoth Becton to play left tackle and protect Baker Mayfield and give them a top 10 offensive line.

11th Overall Pick - New York Jets
Andrew Thomas - Offensive Tackle - Georgia

The Jets can go a few different directions, but protecting Darnold with a quality player like Andrew Thomas seems like the most reasonable choice.

12th Overall Pick - Las Vegas Raiders
Ceedee Lamb - Wide Receiver - Oklahoma

The Raiders get the best receiver in the draft and gives Derek Carr a potential superstar to throw to.

Panthers trade back, get picks and get themselves a solid local defensive lineman who should help them right away.

15th Overall Pick - Denver Broncos
Henry Ruggs - Wide Receiver - Alabama

Ruggs adds a whole new element to the Broncos’ offense and gives them a serious deep threat with out-of-worldly speed.

16th Overall Pick - Los Angeles Chargers (from Atlanta Falcons)
Jordan Love - Quarterback - Utah State

Trade: Chargers trade 37th Overall, 71st Overall + 2021 1st Round for 16th Overall Pick from Falcons

Chargers make the shocking move to give up a future 1st round pick and a 2nd rounder to move up and get Jordan Love. It costs them a future first round pick, but they get a star linebacker and their future quarterback... not bad.

17th Overall Pick - Dallas Cowboys
Cesar Ruiz - Interior Offensive Lineman - Michigan

The Cowboys tend to reach for needs, but while Ruiz is ranked in the mid30s, he should be a day 1 starter for the Cowboys who lost Travis Frederick to retirement.

18th Overall Pick - Miami Dolphins (from Pittsburgh Steelers)
K’Lavon Chaisson - Defensive End - LSU

Dolphins get themselves a high ceiling pass rusher to help their front 7.

19th Overall Pick - Las Vegas Raiders (from Chicago)
C.J. Henderson - Cornerback - Florida

Henderson fills a huge need for the Raiders as they have a weak secondary and he can start right away.

20th Overall Pick - New Orleans Saints (from Jacksonville Jaguars)
Patrick Queen - Linebacker - LSU

Trade: Saints trade 24th Overall + 88th Overall for 20th Overall Pick from Jaguars

Saints get a Louisiana native to join their team and get one of the more undervalued players in the draft.

21st Overall Pick - Philadelphia Eagles
Denzel Mims - Wide Receiver - Baylor

Mims is another undervalued player who should go in the 20s. He also gives the Eagles a player who can eventually replace Alshon Jeffery.

22nd Overall Pick - Minnesota Vikings (from Buffalo Bills)
Justin Jefferson - Wide Receiver - LSU

Vikings take arguably the most well rounded receiver in this year’s draft to replace Stefon Diggs.

23rd Overall Pick - New England Patriots
Kenneth Murray - Inside Linebacker - Oklahoma

The Patriots have a relatively weak front 7 and bad linebacker group, so getting Murray will be a huge boost for their defense.

24th Overall Pick - Jacksonville Jaguars (from New Orleans Saints)

This is a reach, but Wilson has been getting late 1st round buzz and the Dolphins need an offensive tackle badly so this makes a lot of sense.

Trade: Browns trade 41st Overall Pick + 74th Overall Pick for 27th Overall Pick from Seahawks

Chinn is one of the best athletes in the draft and I see the Browns traded up to get him to help fill their back end. He might not be ready from day 1, but his ceiling is sky high.

28th Overall Pick - Kansas City Chiefs (from Baltimore Ravens)
Ross Blacklock - Interior Defensive Lineman - TCU

Trade: Chiefs trade 32nd Overall Pick + 96th Overall Pick for 28th Overall Pick from Ravens

Chiefs select a defensive lineman to help beef them up up front and get a player who can replace Chris Jones if he were to leave after 2020.

29th Overall Pick - Tennessee Titans
Terrell Lewis - Outside Linebacker - Alabama

Titans get a long, athletic pass rusher who should have fit in well with their rotation and their defensive identity.

30th Overall Pick - Buffalo Bills (from Green Bay Packers)
AJ Epenesa - Defensive End - Iowa

Trade: Bills trade 54th Overall Pick + 86th Overall Pick + 2021 2nd Round Pick for 30th Overall Pick from Packers

Bills trade up to take one of the best defensive linemen and players on the board; Epenesa fits them perfectly.

31st Overall Pick - San Francisco 49ers
Trevon Diggs - Cornerback - Alabama

49ers need some secondary help after getting torched in the Super Bowl by Mahomes in the 2nd half and with that unit getting old, Diggs could develop nicely into a starter in 1-2 years.

32nd Overall Pick - Houston Texans (from Kansas City Chiefs via Baltimore Ravens)
Neville Gallimore - Interior Defensive Lineman - Oklahoma

Broncos lost some beef up front, but they’ll get it right back with Davis playing right next to Jurrell Casey.

Benjamin is an underrated running back who I believe can have an impact for the Dolphins in year 1 and give Tua and their offense another weapon.

The Texans need a tight end and Deshaun Watson needs pass catchers since the departure of Hopkins; Trautman has beast-like potential.

Ashtyn Davis - Safety - California

The Packers could use some safety depth and a future starter so Davis makes sense for them.

63rd Overall Pick - Kansas City Chiefs (from San Francisco 49ers)
Damon Arnette - Cornerback - Ohio State

Arnette is a versatile cornerback who is great in coverage and against the run and would be a perfect fit for Steve Spagnuolo’s defense.

64th Overall Pick - Seattle Seahawks
Lucas Niang - Offensive Tackle - TCU

Seems weird to go with two offensive tackles with their first three picks, but Niang has starter potential and they need someone to replace Duane Brown after he retires.
