Report: Eagles to Hire Colts Pass Game Specialist Kevin Patullo as New Passing Game Coordinator

NFL: AFC Wild Card-Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Indianapolis Colts pass game specialist Kevin Patullo will be joining former offensive coordinator Nick Sirianni’s new coaching staff with the Philadelphia Eagles:

Patullo just finished his 3rd season on the Colts coaching staff, his first as a pass game specialist, having previously served as the team’s wide receivers coach (2018-19). The New Jersey native has over 15 years of coaching experience, including 10 seasons in the NFL (with prior coaching stints with the Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, and Tennessee Titans).

In addition to Sirianni and Patullo, the Colts coaching staff has experienced a lot of turnover already this offseason—with defensive backs coach Jonathan Gannon also having been hired as the Eagles new defensive coordinator, and current defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus a serious candidate to become the next head coach of the Houston Texans.

The team also lost assistant offensive line coach Klayton Adams to Arizona State.

However, it speaks to the collective quality of the Colts coaching staff this past season, and it’ll be ‘Next Man Up’ again in Indianapolis—as Reich will continue to surround himself with talented and up-and-coming NFL coaches.
