For the Colts Playoff Picture, It’s Now Clear: Win and Indianapolis is In.

With the Buffalo Bills blowing out the Miami Dolphins (10-6) in the earlier wave of Sunday’s games, the Indianapolis Colts now control their playoff destiny again: win against the Jacksonville Jaguars (1-14) and head coach Frank Reich’s squad is in the AFC playoff field.

Should Indianapolis win: The most likely scenario, unless Deshaun Watson and the Houston Texans upset the Tennessee Titans this late afternoon, is that the Colts will be the AFC’s #7 seed and travel to Buffalo to take on the #2 seed Bills (13-3) next weekend in the Wild Card round.

However, should the Texans surprisingly topple the Titans, the Colts would win the AFC South division, become the AFC’s #4 seed and host the #5 seed Baltimore Ravens instead.

While ‘at Buffalo’ presents the most likely and tougher matchup next weekend, the Colts still have the opportunity to make some noise in the playoffs—which is better than no opportunity at all—which looked like the case, when the first wave of games opened Sunday and Indianapolis was seemingly relying on a number of backups to win games.

Still, the Colts have to take care of business against Jacksonville and cannot worry about anything else right now. But the outcome is clear, win and Indianapolis is in.
