The Indianapolis Colts today released their Tuesday injury report for wildcard playoff week of the NFL season ahead of their Saturday game. Tuesday’s practice was a walkthrough so the injury report is only an estimation of players participation if there was a practice.

Defensive tackle DeForest Buckner would have missed practice today with an ankle injury. Buckner has been struggling with an ankle injury of late. Buckner injured his ankle in practice a few weeks ago but even though he has been missing practices he has been playing through it.

Offensive tackle Will Holden would have missed practice today with an ankle injury. Holden injured his ankle during the Pittsburgh game and missed the Jaguars game due to the ankle injury. Holden was the teams left tackle for the Pittsburgh game and is a vital offensive tackle depth. Hopefully he can progress through the week and manage to practice.

Quarterback Philip Rivers would have missed practice today with a toe injury. Rivers injured his toe earlier in the year and has been getting regular practices off to aid his recovery. Rivers has missed practices each week since his toe injury but has played every game this year.

Cornerback Rock Ya-Sin would have missed practice today with a concussion. Ya-Sin entered the concussion protocol after the Pittsburgh game and couldn’t pass through the protocol in time causing him to miss the Jaguars game. If Ya-Sin can’t pass through the concussion protocol this week he will miss the Colts playoff game.

Cornerback TJ Carrie would have been limited at practice today with ankle and shoulder injuries. Carrie has stepped into the starting cornerback role with Ya-Sin’s struggles of late. Add in Ya-Sin’s missed practice today and the Colts could have themselves a cornerback issue this week.

Running back Jonathan Taylor would have been limited at practice today with a shoulder injury. Taylor broke a lot of records on Sunday but is limited today with a shoulder injury. The Colts will need to lead on Taylor for offensive success to progress through the playoffs, Hopefully he can continue to practice and play Sunday.

Safety Khari Willis would have been a full practice participant today. Willis missed the Jaguars game with a concussion as he was unable to pass through the leagues concussion protocol. Having Willis able to practice fully means he is on the way to passing through the concussion protocol. Hopefully he can continue to do so and play Sunday.
