The Indianapolis Colts today released their Wednesday injury report for wildcard playoff week of the NFL season ahead of their Saturday game. Tuesday’s practice was a walk through so the injury report is only an estimation of players participation if there was a practice.

Defensive tackle DeForest Buckner would have continued to miss practice today with an ankle injury. Buckner missed the first two practices last week and still managed to play but it is still worrying that he is missing practice time before such an important game. Hopefully Buckner can get some practice time in tomorrow and play Saturday.
Offensive tackle Will Holden would have continued to miss practice today with an ankle injury. At this point it looks like Holden’s ankle injury will likely keep him out again this week unless he can turn it around and practice tomorrow.
Quarterback Philip Rivers would have returned to practicing fully today. Rivers missed practice with a toe injury. Rivers has been getting practices off each week to help with the toe injury. With Rivers return to practice it would almost confirm he is playing Saturday.
Cornerback Rock Ya-Sin would have continued to miss practice today with a concussion. Ya-Sin appears to be still in the leagues concussion protocol and is struggling to pass through it. Unless Ya-Sin can practice tomorrow he will likely miss the second game in a row and a very important game against a top offense.
Cornerback TJ Carrie would have returned to full practice today. Carrie was limited at yesterday with shoulder and ankle injuries. Having Carrie able to practice fully today is great news especially with Ya-Sin struggling with a concussion. Carrie has been starting at cornerback lately with Ya-Sin’s inconsistent play.
Running back Jonathan Taylor would have continued to be limited at practice today with a shoulder. Taylor is a vital part of the Colts offense and the team needs him to play Saturday. Taylor told the media him being limited it practice was nothing serious and that he should be good to go Saturday.
Safety Khari Willis would have continued to practice fully today. Willis appears to be close to passing fully through the league concussion protocol. Having Willis back for such an important game is huge as he is such a vital part of the Colts secondary. Hopefully he can pass the concussion protocol fully tomorrow.
