Wide receiver TY Hilton missed practice today with a quad injury. Hilton returned from injured reserve last week and played his first game of the season but couldn’t finish it as he injured his quad. Hopefully isn’t nothing too serious as Hilton showed Sunday how important his is to the Colts offense.
Linebacker Darius Leonard missed practice today with ankle and knee injuries. Leonard has been dealing with an ankle injury all year and it appears the ankle injury is still troubling him.
Defensive end Tyquan Lewis missed practice today with an elbow injury. Lewis has been getting starter like reps this year and has played well. Lewis is developing well this year, hopefully the elbow injury doesn’t make him lose any game time.
Defensive end Kwity Paye missed practice with a hamstring injury. Paye has been struggling with a hamstring injury for the last few weeks and it appears to have cropped back up again. Hopefully Paye can shake off the hamstring injury and continue to develop this year.
Right tackle Braden Smith missed practice today with thumb and ankle injuries. Smith hasn’t practiced since the Seahawks game in which he injured his ankle in. Smith was noticed worked off on the side with the Colts head trainer. Hopefully he can return to practice soon and then game days.
Defensive end Kemoko Turay missed practice today with a groin injury. Turay has been dealing with a groin injury lately which forced him to miss the Texans game. Turay has had an injury riddled career to date and it appears to be continuing this year too.
Cornerback Rock Ya-Sin missed practice today with an ankle injury. Ya-Sin returned to playing on Sunday after missing two weeks with the ankle injury. Ya-Sin appears to have reaggravated the ankle injury and as one of the Colts top cornerbacks the team need him more than ever.
Safeties Julian Blackmon (Achilles) and Andrew Sendejo (concussion) were limited at practice today. Having two safeties both limited is far from ideal and could be a reason why the team signed Josh Jones to the practice squad.
