The Indianapolis Colts will play their second prime-time game in three weeks on Sunday Night Football against the San Francisco 49ers. This is currently slated to be played in rainy conditions with the wind as a secondary factor. Expect these conditions to create issues for placekickers and quarterbacks who are trying to get things going through the air.
On the other hand, it should be the kind of game the guys in the trenches love playing. Offensive and defensive lines become a major focal point in inclement weather and running backs may be able to feast. The question is, will they be able to hold onto a wet football?
It’s hard to predict game outcomes under the circumstances but we can certainly predict that Cris Collingsworth will likely make the game more difficult to watch.
