Current Standings

5th Cincinnati Bengals (6-4) 75% chance

6th L.A. Chargers (6-4) 80% chance

7th Buffalo Bills (6-4) 55% chance

OUT Pittsburgh Steelers (5-4-1) 25% chance

OUT Indianapolis Colts (6-5) 40% chance

OUT Cleveland Browns (6-5) 15% chance

Bengals

Score this Week: Won 32-13 @Raiders

Joe Mixon ran all over the Raiders’ defense, racking up 132 yards and two scores. The Bengals were terrific on 3rd downs, converting 50% of their attempts while holding the Raiders to a 14% rate. Game was much closer than the final score indicates, Bengals’ scored 16 points in the last 5 minutes.

Next Week: Vs. Steelers

Tough divisional matchup against a really good defense. The Steelers are not looking good right now, but they are always a tough game. Colts really benefit from either team losing, so this matchup serves Indy either way.

L.A. Chargers

Score this Week: Won 41-37 Vs. Steelers

After the Steelers mounted an impressive comeback to take the lead in the 4th quarter, Herbert threw a 53-yard touchdown pass to Mike Williams that resulted in a much needed win for L.A. The Chargers secondary struggled a lot against Roethlisberger, as the defense is clearly not as impressive as past seasons. Austin Ekeler scored 4 touchdowns, second most for a running back this week.

Next Week: @Broncos

Chargers will now go to Denver to face off against a struggling Denver team, that has dropped 5 out of their last 7 games. Against Dallas, the Broncos showed that they still deserve plenty of respect, and the Colts certainly need them to recapture some of that magic and pull off an upset against L.A.

Buffalo Bills

Score this Week: Lost 15-41 Vs. Colts

The Bills were exposed by superstar running back Jonathan Taylor, who scored 5 touchdowns on the game. With the toughest part of the schedule coming up, including two matchups against the Patriots, the Bills are collapsing at the worst possible time.

Next Week: @Saints

The Bills will now travel to New Orleans on Thursday night and go up against a Saints’ team that has been destroyed by injuries to key players and is on a 3-game losing streak. Great chance for the Bills to break off their schneid.

Steelers

Score this Week: Lost 37-41 @Chargers

Heartbreaking loss for the Steelers, right after tying against the worst team in the NFL. The Steelers could easily be 7-3 right now, but instead they are 5-4-1 and this is yet another team that will go through their toughest part of the schedule right now with all their remaining games against winning teams.

Next Week: @Bengals

As I already mentioned above, this is going to be a really tough game for both teams, as winning is imperative for the two and a loss seriously harms either teams’ playoff chances. The Steelers will definitely be looking to recover after two bad weeks, and put themselves once again in the playoff conversation.

Browns

Score this Week: Won 13-10 Vs. Lions

The Browns just barely managed to beat the Detroit Lions, as Baker Mayfield is just not looking good at all, and was accordingly booed by Browns fans. Luckily for the Browns, Nick Chubb is still an absolute beast and Kareem Hunt should be able to return anytime soon. The defense is also dominant, with a terrifying pass rush and a more than capable secondary.

Next Week: @Ravens

The Browns’ desperately need the offense to recover, as they are entering their toughest part of the season and will go out against the Ravens this week. Lamar Jackson missed last game against the Bears with an illness, but should be ready to go against Cleveland in what looks like the final chance for the Browns to recover.
