The Indianapolis Colts pulled off an NFL blockbuster trade on Thursday as former NFL All-Pro quarterback and 2016 #2 overall pick (and ex-Philadelphia Eagles franchise quarterback) Carson Wentz is finally headed to ‘The Circle City’—after weeks of ongoing speculation and rumors.
Among his most enthusiastic publicly welcoming Colts’ teammates appears to be none other than standout slot cornerback Kenny Moore, who worked rather quickly today in warmly greeting the newest member of the Horseshoe family virtually:
i’m bout to FaceTime Wentz and he better pick up. congrats to Carson!!

With Wentz starting behind starting center—and if he can regain his prior MVP caliber form (or close to it), perhaps the Colts are ‘ready to ride’, poised for a deep playoff run in 2021.
These two Colts players figure to have some friendly, yet tough team practice battles coming up in training camp lining up on opposite sides—if nothing else relatively soon.
However, next season’s Colts aspire for so much more.
Wentz should be a nice addition to a Colts’ locker room that already features strong leadership and is a close-knit bunch—that works hard and plays hard together as one.
That being said, while Moore beat many to the punch—at least publicly, ‘Welcome to the Colts, Carson!’
Now, as Moore so eloquently stated, let’s ‘get a horse ready for him!’
There’s still A LOT of work to do, and it’s REALLY early, but here’s hoping 2021 is the Colts’ year.
Let’s Ride!
