The Indianapolis Colts announced on Monday that both former franchise greats Peyton Manning (Class of 2021) and Edgerrin James (Class of 2020) will receive their Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinee rings during Week 2’s (September 19th) home game against the Los Angeles Rams.
Both Manning and James are scheduled to be enshrined into football immortality this upcoming August 7-8th during Pro Football Hall of Fame weekend in Canton, Ohio.
James’s enshrinement was postponed a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It should be an August ‘Colts summer party’ of sorts for fans, as the Horseshoe faithful get to see both Manning and James receive their gold jackets and have their bronze busts finally unveiled.
However, some of that celebration will indeed carry over into the 2021 regular season—as Colts fans will be there at Lucas Oil Stadium for the ‘after-party’—to help the prolific pair celebrate once more for having such legendary football careers in Indianapolis.
