I’m finally back home at Stampede Blue. What a journey it’s been over the years leading me back to where I first began my writing career over eight years ago.
When I first joined Stampede Blue, I was a high school student in Westfield, Indiana looking to put my foot in the door anywhere I could. Luckily, Stampede Blue accepted me with open arms as a contributor for a year. From there, my journalism career has taken me all over.
I moved from Indiana to Arizona at the beginning of my college journey to take an opportunity covering the Phoenix Suns as a credentialed journalist. Over the last four years, I covered the Suns for SB Nation’s Suns affiliate Bright Side Of The Sun and Forbes. Throughout that timeframe, I honed my craft in every way possible covering an NBA team up-close on a daily basis.
Moving over from the NBA beat to the NFL, it has me enthused to dive deep into all the nuances of the game I’ve yet to explore on a written level. There’s so many integral parts of the game that have so many analytical points that can be dissected into a story.
By the way, if you love listening to Colts podcasts, you might know me as the host of Locked On Colts. Over the last two and a half years, I’ve been speaking into my microphone providing daily Indianapolis Colts takes Monday-Friday.
This is what makes me so pumped to now be returning back where it all started here at Stampede Blue.
You will see so much in-depth, unique content on the Colts that will hopefully take your daily Colts reading digestion up another notch. From columns and daily pieces to analytics-based stories plus film analysis, I can’t wait to get started with the Stampede Blue team.
Hello, Stampede Blue readers, it feels so good to be home!
