The Indianapolis Colts continue to add defensive reinforcements, as the team is reportedly expected to sign ex-Cleveland Browns defensive tackle Joey Ivie (per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport):
Former #Browns DT Joey Ivie is expected to sign with #Colts, source said, once he’s through COVID protocols. He’s vaccinated but missed the cutoff.

It comes after the Colts just added defensive lineman Damontre Moore and cornerback Holton Hill to their active roster.
Originally a 2017 7th round pick of the Dallas Cowboys out of the University of Florida, Ivie has also spent time with the Atlanta Falcons, Seattle Seahawks, Kansas City Chiefs, Tennessee Titans, and Cleveland Browns organizations.
At a listed 6’3”, 301 pounds, the 26 year old has recorded 2 tackles and a QB hit in 8 career games—having last appeared in 2019 with both the Chiefs and Titans.
With the Colts having recently placed defensive tackle Robert Windsor on injured reserve with a season-ending hip injury, Ivie provides more interior defensive line depth for training camp and potentially the preseason.
