According to rookie wideout Michael Strachan’s personal Instagram account, a handful of the Indianapolis Colts’ offensive skill players are working out together in Houston, Texas, before the team’s training camp starts in late July.
Among them is new starting quarterback Carson Wentz, whose offseason home is in Texas (pics via WISHTV’s Charlie Clifford):

It’s not the first time this offseason that a couple of Colts offensive players have gotten together, as Wentz trained with wideouts Michael Pittman Jr. and Dezmon Patmon a few months ago—while backup quarterback Jacob Eason did something similar as well.
Veteran wide receiver T.Y. Hilton and Wentz also had an earlier ‘throw session’.
These are but a few instances of players having connected this offseason to work out—beyond organized team activities and minicamp.
Looking to build greater chemistry and rapport with their young receivers, it’s a positive step for both Wentz and Eason as quarterbacks.
Despite training camp still being a few weeks away, it shows that the grind truly never stops—and it’s encouraging to see the extra work that goes on behind the scenes to be better from a number of the Colts’ young guns.
