According to ESPN’s Field Yates, on Monday, the Indianapolis Colts worked out four safeties following Sunday’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks:

Currently, the Colts are only carrying three safeties on their 53-man active roster: Julian Blackmon, Khari Willis, and George Odum (who’s known more for his standout special teams play), so another safety could be highly necessary depth wise.

For what it’s worth though, the Colts do still have both Sean Davis and Shawn Davis on the team’s practice squad at safety—as potential promotion options.

Nevertheless, here’s the scoop on the four safeties the Colts tried out on Monday:

Andrew Sendejo: Originally signed as a 2010 undrafted free agent by the UFL’s Sacramento Mountain Lions, the 34 year old safety has also spent time with the Dallas Cowboys, New York Jets, Minnesota Vikings, Philadelphia Eagles, and Cleveland Browns.

The 6’1”, 210 pound safety has 483 tackles (345 solo), 8 tackles for loss, 9 interceptions, 23 passes defensed, 2.0 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and 3 fumble recoveries during 124 career games (75 starts).

Will Parks: Initially a 2016 6th round pick by the Denver Broncos, the 27 year old safety has also been a member of the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs.

The 6’0”, 200 pound safety has 180 tackles (131 solo), 7 tackles for loss, 4 interceptions, 13 passes defensed, 2.0 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery during 72 career games (18 starts).

Josh Jones: The former NC State standout entered the league as a 2017 2nd round pick of the Green Bay Packers—having also played with the Dallas Cowboys and Jacksonville Jaguars.

The 6’2”, 220 pound safety has 211 tackles (160 solo), 7 tackles for loss, 2 interceptions, 8 passes defensed, and 3.0 sacks during 48 career games (25 starts).

Jordan Lucas: Having been a 2016 6th round pick of the Miami Dolphins, the 28 year old safety has also been a member of the Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago Bears.

The 6’1”, 190 pound safety has 47 tackles (29 solo), a tackle for loss, an interception, 3 passes defensed, and a sack during 49 career games (4 starts).
