Well, this is certainly a surprising development. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Indianapolis Colts have been chosen by HBO for their inaugural edition of an in-season Hard Knocks series.
The critically acclaimed series has followed NFL teams throughout training camp and preseason. Most recently, the Dallas Cowboys went under the microscope with HBO camera crews following them around.
Now, HBO will be invading the Colts’ facility on a daily basis off West 56th Street in Indianapolis.
There’s plenty of storylines that will be awesome to see behind the scenes. From Carson Wentz’s adjustment to Indy, the relationship between Wentz and head coach Frank Reich, Quenton Nelson, DeForest Buckner, Darius Leonard and so much more intriguing players, HBO will be able to go more in-depth than ever on the 2021-22 Colts.
This will be the first time in the Colts’ history they are featured on Hard Knocks, and now it comes in the middle of the regular season.
The first episode releases on Nov. 17, and will do so every Wednesday throughout the rest of the season on their road to a potential playoff spot.
Get your popcorn ready, plus your HBO subscriptions, Colts fans. This should be a lot of fun to watch in a few months.
