The Indianapolis Colts have released their inactive list for the team’s Week 2 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.

Among those who inactive are wide receiver Parris Campbell, cornerback Xavier Rhodes, tackle Will Fries, defensive end Isaac Rochell, tackle Braden Smith and defensive tackle Chris Williams.

The team also recently brought wide receiver De’Michael Harris up from the practice squad. Both he and Campbell share similar playing styles, so we could see Harris get some playing time in place of the veteran receiver.

Additionally, according to Zak Keefer, a writer for The Athletic, Quenton Nelson, Michael Pittman Jr., Khari Willis, Darius Leonard and Eric Fisher, all of whom have been battling some form of injury/illness this past week, are active for today’s game.

As the Colts get ready to play one of the better defensive fronts in the NFL, having Nelson and Fisher start is a major plus. The offensive line is going to need as much help as it can get.

According to Kevin Bowen, Julie’n Davenport will start at right tackle in place of Braden Smith, but Fisher “won’t play every snap at LT.” Bowen also adds that Reich plans to rotate between Fisher and Davenport at LT. Matt Pryor, whom the team traded for just a few weeks ago, will slide in at RT at times.

What’s also noteworthy is having both Darius Leonard and Khari Willis start, too, as the Colts’ secondary and linebacker depth is considered an area which needs improvement to some.

Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods are two of the best wide receivers the team will see all season long, so having both defensive starters healthy is vital going into the matchup.

The Colts are looking to avoid an 0-2 start, so it’s certainly a plus that the team has so many key players starting against a very tough Rams team.
