Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Indianapolis Colts fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate.

Heading into Week 9 of the season, we want to know how you’re feeling after watching the team so far this year. Every week of the season we will ask fans if they are confident the team is headed in the right direction and more of the most pressing questions facing the coming game. Let us know what you think!

The Indianapolis Colts lost a nail biter to the Washington Commanders (+3.5) this past weekend and now travel to Foxborough to take on an old franchise nemesis, the New England Patriots (-5.5), in the hopes of snapping a two-game losing streak.

Mac Jones is currently still listed as the starter for the Patriots, but their quarterback situation appears entirely fluid with Bailey Zappe, depending on who has the hot hand.

Meanwhile, the Colts will give 2nd-year quarterback Sam Ehlinger his second career start—hoping the offense can score more points and mitigate the turnovers this time out.

Whether Ehlinger will have starting running back Jonathan Taylor (ankle) in his backfield remains to be seen, as the Colts reigning First-Team All-Pro running back was held out of team practice on Wednesday. The team’s primary backup Nyheim Hines was just traded.

The Patriots (4-4) aren’t as strong as they’ve been in recent seasons, but it’s still a well coached team under Bill Belichick—at least defensively, and that could pose some problems for Ehlinger in the passing game as an inexperienced young quarterback.

How are you feeling Horseshoe faithful?
