I don't want to start another long dialog arguing about quarterbacks in the 2023 draft (although you are free do to so anyway). I would just like to get one single thing settled in my head.
For openers, I am now beginning to fall into the camp that sees the logic of waiting until the second round for a shot at one of the second tier quarterbacks. For starters, his includes (but not limited to) the likes of Penix, Hooker, Nix, and Jefferson.. And then using other early draft capital (1st and 3rd rounds) on the offensive line and wide receiver.
What I am after is this. If the team drafts a left handed QB like Penix, does that put more on the importance of your right tackle and less importance on your left tackle? Is that statement pretty much correct?
