One more time...

The draft doesn't start until this Thursday, and we don't pick until Friday. What else do I have to do until then? I am still trying to get a handle as to which trade back approach might be best for the Colts.

First, assume four QB's are selected before we pick on Friday and a fifth is available at #42. Further assume Ballard has already decided to wait until 2023 for a QB. Lastly, assume that Atlanta wants that fifth QB and does not want another team to jump ahead of them.

Here are the two trade offers.

A) #42 for #43 and #114.

B) #42 and #216 for #58 and #74.

Choice A means you ger the guy you wanted at #42 and pick up another pick early in the 4th round.

Choice B means you still get a good player at #50 and pick up a pick early in the 3rd round.

Draft value wise, they are about the same (that is Atlanta has to pay to move up). All else equal, which is better?
