Just read about JT's surgery, so I guess the question is will that affect his possible contract this year. Do you wait and see how JT does in 2023 and maybe use the TAG on him at some point? With the performance of Shaq and Nelson after injuries so far should CB have more of a wait and see with a RB, Mack had good years for us but injury has for the most part hurt his NFL career. 2021 JT deserves a very good RB contract, 2022 JT injuries, bad OL play, and very bad QB play harder to judge. I believe you hold off, see how 2023 goes and if needed use the TAG, i know CB has not used the TAG but when it comes to RB's you are only a tackle away from being average, look at Mack situation.
