After getting robbed like we did yesterday, the motivation to sit and watch NFL football is really low, but this might actually prove to be an entertaining matchup with Primetime Kirk facing off against the 49ers defense. The Niners (- 298) open as big favourites going up against a struggling Vikings (+ 240) team that will be without star wide receiver Justin Jefferson. For updated lines visit DraftKings Sportsbook.
The Vikings barely managed to beat a Bears’ squad that was without Justin Fields for most of the game, but they did beat them. Rookie wide receiver Jordan Addison scored a touchdown, and the defense easily handled a handicapped (and uninspiring) Chicago offense. On the down side, the offense does not look nearly as explosive without J-Jettas, and they will need all the help they can get against such a dominant Niners’ defense.
The Niners lost their undefeated record to the Cleveland Referees, as that supposedly great defense of Cleveland managed to keep Purdy and CMC in check, while quarterback P.J. Walker and the Browns’ running game did enough to escape with a narrow 2 point victory.
No surprises here as the entire staff is going with the 49ers on this one, but keep in mind there is a curse going on whenever the team picks an unanymous winner on primetime games.
