To be honest, I'm kind of holding out that something may change...I have not given up on the idea that this is all written in stone. ... I would not think (Mudd) is ready to shut down, he nor Tom,'' Saturday said. "Both of those guys still love coaching.''

Jeff Saturday seems to think that we have not seen the last of Tom Moore or Howard Mudd.

Stampede Blue Meet and Greet Update

9

The plan was for everyone to meet up at Chumley's in Broad Ripple on 5/23 (this Saturday) at 12 PM. I see MasterRWayne and yellowsnow just about every weekend, so unless there is a decent amount of people willing to try and show up, I doubt this will be worth it. I know for a fact mgrex03 wants to do this, so if any of you are interested in meeting 3 of the writers for Stampede Blue, let me know now.

Hallelujah! Tony Kornheiser dumped from Monday Night Football!

22

He will be replaced by Jon Gruden. Gruden is a self-serving tool, but at least he KNOWS football, unlike Kornheiser who was so obnoxiously ignorant when calling the games it induced vomiting from viewers everywhere. Also, torontocoltsfan has a FanPost up on Korny getting the boot. Join in the celebration!

Kornheiser out of MNF, Gruden in.

Gruden and Jaws two insightful commentators should be good.

That’s the million-dollar question, and I’ll be honest: if I had an answer, I’d have written it already. It’s a question I expect will be asked of Colts President Bill Polian and Colts Chief Executive Officer Jim Irsay often in the coming weeks — at least until there is an answer. There’s been something in me since the beginning of the process saying I just couldn’t believe this pension issue would force the duo away. It just seemed silly that some solution involving money and . . . and . . . and, well, money — could be reached if all parties really wanted Moore and Mudd to stay."

Indy Football Report and Colts.com writer John Oehser on the question of whether Howard Mudd and Tom Moore will return to the Colts as consultants.

Colts lead the NFL with 106.4% attendence

The Colts averaged 66,378 fans at the Luke last season. They ranked only 19th in the league in total attendance due to the 2nd smallest stadium in the league (to Chicago). (via BCC)
