2013 NFL Draft: Chiefs Select Eric Fisher With The First Overall Pick

Luke Joeckel or Eric Fisher? This certainly wasn't an easy choice, but the Chiefs think they've found their answer in Eric Fisher.

USA TODAY Sports

Eric Fisher jumped to the top of many boards in the last few weeks, so it's not really a surprise that the Chiefs selected him here. Fisher is incredibly athletic and is more of a raw, gritty player than Luke Joeckel. The Central Michigan product received first-team All-MAC honors in 2012 and third-team honors in 2011. CMU's offensive line averaged 6.2 yards per rush in Fisher's senior year and allowed only 14 sacks.

The Chiefs are loaded with talent and Fisher and his ridiculous display of athleticism at the Combine should be a home run pick for Andy Reid and Co.
